Dozy Sk8 is where Rollers come to learn, connect and grow!
Dozy is a roller skating club that was founded in kettering uk!
We have now grown into a beautiful community of amazing and talented skaters!
At Dozy, we noticed a big lack of support in the skate community! It’s hard to find any skate shops, no repair services, theres a slim amount of events happening and a lot of skate brands have shifted their focus away from community and towards profit… we don’t like this.
We hope to build the dozy community into an amazing space where skaters from all backgrounds and disciplines’s can support and empower one another & their respective sport. Our goal for the future is to acquire a permanent premises that we can use to host more community focused events, classes, workshops and competitions! We want to build a proper community hub, that can host different types of roller sports (Skate park, Roller Rink, Roller Derby, Artistic skating etc.) And eventually spaces for sports of all kinds (Rock Climbing, Circus Skills, Gymnastics, Ariel Arts etc.) As well as a creative & hobby studio of course!
Its a big goal for a small group we know! And it will take a while to fully achieve! But we believe that by bringing together multiple disciplines’s & groups we have a better chance of securing a place that this can happen! a space for people to practice, fully express themselves, move their body freely, explore new things and connect with a wider community!
This big goal is why all of our profits go straight back into the business! so we can grow the community!

Community is everything thats great about skating! People to learn from, to hype you up and build your confidence! having a good community creates environments for everyone to learn, grow and feel welcome! We are dedicated to helping support that community spirit! we promise to always put at least 50% of the profits made from dozy straight back into the business, so we can host more free / low cost skate sessions & events!
Individuality -
Everyone has a unique style, personality and very different bodies! this means every single one of our journeys is a little bit different, in skating and in life! This of-course should be celebrated! our different paths mean we can all learn from each other! new tricks, new jokes, new friends to laugh with is what skating is all about!
Inclusivity & Respect -
Everyone will always be welcome in the Dozy community! no matter your age, style, background, skill level etc! We believe all skating is a form of self expression and there is no single way to do or learn anything! we promote a wholesome and supportive skate environment where skaters can celebrate each others achievements!
Having a voice -
We believe its skaters that should have a say over local skate spaces / projects / events etc! Now is the time to unify skate communities so we can stop things like the closure / decline of vital skate spaces or the opening of AI generated skateparks! By unifying skaters we can advocate for these things together! Dozy sessions are made to support skaters! and we are always open to new ways we can support the community

Skate Socials
Skate socials are a place for the roller community to practice, connect and support each other!
These sessions are free or low cost so the community can always find a safe space! perfect space to roll, flow and express yourself!

Dozy are always planning new events and looking to participate in other community events!
This is so we can spread the love and joy of skating, as well as provide opportunities to showcase the amazing talents cropping up in the community!

Skate Classes
We host structured adults classes and family classes each week to provide a safe and supportive environment for new or nervous rollers!
these classes are the perfect space to learn new skills, new confidence and express yourself fully!

Skate Drive
A big part of our goal is to make skating more accessible to everyone!
we plan to collect as many second hand roller skates & inline skates as we can by December!
this is so we can service and clean these skates, and get them ready to gift straight back to the community! free of charge! what a lovely Christmas present!
everyone who donates a pair of skates to us will get a voucher for £3 off any Dozy session!
